Jitume Program
The Jitume Program is an initiative by the Government of Kenya under the Ministry of ICT and Digital economy. We as Manyatta Technical and Vocational College pride in a fully computer-equipped Jitume Hub and have stood out as one of the Jitume Program Centres in Kenya and embraced the Jitume Program in our College as a bridge to the digital divide among the youth within our College and the surrounding community. The Program aims to empower Kenyan youth with digital skills and opportunities to participate in the digital economy. Every term, the College carries out a training program either in collaboration with emobilis and Ajira Digital or doing it ourselves with the help of the four ToTs in our College who are already empowered and equipped with digital skills.
To empower the youth of Manyatta Technical and Vocational College to take ownership of their learning and leverage technology for job creation and income generation.

Successfully trained participants have transitioned from digital novices to proficient digital gurus, equipped with skills essential for the digital age.
The program has enhanced soft skills including communication and problem-solving skills, making the beneficiaries more employable in diverse sectors.
Many beneficiaries have secured online work opportunities, graduating them to financial independence and personal growth.
To provide access to digital devices, training, and job opportunities, fostering a culture of innovation, entrepreneurship, and lifelong learning among the youth.
In collaboration with emobilis and Ajira Digital, we are continuously training youths in our College and from the Community within Manyatta Constituency with skills ranging from the most basic ones to more advanced ones. They include but not limited to; Basic digital skills like typesetting and Data entry to Content writing, Introduction to Digital and Digitally enabled work, personal Digital profile creation, Online Work Safety and AI for Graphics.
